Grand Opening of The Stag and Hound Inn

Master Durgan Oakhart and Sir Tralik Norwood extend their warmest invitation to come and celebrate the Grand Opening of The Stag and Hound Inn. With the completion of our newest business venture, we would love to open our doors to friends and family to get the first look at Crossroads’ newest Inn.

As the winter flurries start to sweep in, come warm your feet by the fire and enjoy a warm glass of spiced wine or a frothy ale. Rooms will be rented at a discounted rate so everyone can drink their fill and tuck into fresh linen at the end of the night.

We hope that you will join us for our December 1 day event this weekend: Sunday December 13th, 2020 from 12pm-9pm.

Here are some details about this upcoming event:

How do I get in?

• Here is a link to the Discord server: https://discord.gg/3KvGY56

• Tickets for this event are $15.00, and you can purchase them here: www.kanar.club/payment.

• Please note that paying before Sunday will help speed up the check-in process! If you pay once the event has started, you'll be checked-in as staff becomes available.

• Due to COVID-19, we are not taking any cash or check payments at this time.

What do I need to do before I can play?

• There's a few things that you should check off your checklist before you can start playing this weekend:

  • Make sure you have filed an ARF this year

  • Make sure you have paid for this event

  • Make sure you have paid your yearly membership dues

  • Make sure that you have no outstanding balance owed to KGE for past events

  • If you are a new player, make sure you have a character sheet on file with our character book staff.

• If you have questions about any of these or are unsure if you have an outstanding balance please email the Treasurer at: treasurer@kanar.club

• If you have to reach the character book staff, email them at: cbm@kanar.club

How do I get XP?

• You do nothing! As a thank you to you, the players, for sticking with Kanar through a global pandemic and adapting to our online events, each person who attends the 1 day event will be given 30xp.

• The check in staff will keep a ledger of all who log on to make sure you get your XP for attending!

• Special times call for special circumstances. This is a one time opportunity that will not be repeated.

Can I do modules?

• GM staff will be working with those that require modules. If you run into an encounter that requires combat, here are the combat rules created by our PM staff.

Once I'm online, how can I ask staff out of game questions?

• There is an area on Discord you can post your OOG questions.

• You can also tag anyone who has the role of GUARD (they are our Admin staff), and they will happily help you, or direct you to the appropriate staff member!

How late can I purchase a ticket to be considered an "attendee"?

• As long as you purchase your ticket, and are checked-in to the server before 9pm, you will be considered an attendee and will get your XP!

Do I get to do a sign out for this?

• No. As usual, the November sign out denotes what your character will be doing all winter long. If, however, you need to correct your November sign out to do crafting over the winter you can email the Game Master at: gm@kanar.club

Can I teach/learn skills?

• Because there will be no sign outs for this event, you will not be able to teach or learn skills. This includes learning new spells.
